About Ross
Ross Morgan is a jazz guitarist, composer, and awarded arranger from Ottawa, Canada. He first discovered his love of jazz when he heard Ed Bickert's album "At The Garden Party". Ross has shared the stage with Juno award-winning artists such as Ed Lister and Pat Labarbera. Ross studied music in Toronto with Jocelyn Gould, Ted Quinlan and Lorne Lofsky. In 2024, Ross interviewed the bassist and jazz legend Ron Carter.
Ross' debut 2022 EP, "Migration," showcases his unique voice as an artist, drawing inspiration from legendary guitarists such as Wes Montgomery, Pat Martino, and folk singer Stan Rogers. Combining contemporary jazz with Canadian folk music, Ross has found a new innovative sound.
Ross has quickly become a sought-after musician in the Canadian jazz scene. He studied music at Humber College in Toronto. With his talent and dedication, he continues to make a lasting impact on the world of new music.
